Al has a life-long connection to the arts. In addition to painting he has played and taught the electric bass for over 25 years. His political cartoons have appeared in many of the New Jersey area newspapers, including; The NY Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Asbury Park Press. His sports cartoons have been featured in the Ring magazine, on SIOnline.com (Sports Illustrated), and Reuter's Sportsweb. He is currently the VP of Audience Acquisition and Development for The Express-Times newspaper, developing new digital information products.
