Life is an improvisation

The soul of Jazz is about finding your own creative style. Practitioners of the art form must combine emotion, knowledge, experience, technique with the improvisational ability to "think on their feet." The end result is a personalized pastiche that comprises the performer's unique voice.

After years of playing music, I have become fascinated by the idea of capturing the spirit of music visually. Played notes, colors and creative energy all share a common vibrational quality. I want to lead viewers to that shared space.

The works are produced quickly - usually in one or two sittings - to retain a freshness that is akin to an improvised solo.
